INDIA
Dinesh Khanna is an acclaimed Indian photographer known for his evocative black-and-white imagery and deep engagement with street and documentary photography. With a career spanning over four decades, he has documented diverse facets of Indian life—capturing its culture, spirituality, and everyday human narratives with a quiet, observant eye.
He began his journey in the 1980s, transitioning from a background in business to photography, eventually becoming one of India’s most respected visual storytellers. Khanna has worked extensively on editorial, travel, and documentary assignments, contributing to leading publications and collaborating on numerous books.
Beyond his photographic work, he is a passionate mentor and educator, having conducted workshops across India and internationally, influencing generations of photographers. His approach emphasizes mindfulness, patience, and the art of seeing—values that resonate strongly within the street photography community.

Soumya Shankar Ghosal is a Kolkata based street and documentary photographer. With over a decade’s experience his work has won numerous accolades in India and internationally including Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (World Bank), Namami Gange - Government of India, Ministry of Information & Cultural Affairs – Government of West Bengal and ICICI Bank Live Your Passion Grand Challenge. His work has been published in noted publications including National Geographic Traveler India, Lonely Planet, CNN Travel, India Today to name a few.
He is an official Canon EOS Maestro. He was invited by Facebook as the Curator of India’s first official Instagram exhibition. He was a keynote speaker at the U.S. Consulate General Kolkata - Eco Cinema 2019 International Film Festival. He has worked with several NGOs including ISKCON and CRY. An independent voting system by Street Hunters had placed him at number 3 in “The 20 most influential Street Photographers of 2017” globally.
He is a recipient of the prestigious Sahapedia Frames Grant 2019 and has worked extensively on Kolkata’s hand pulled rickshaws. He has initiated Photography projects in various capacities and roles at prestigious educational institutes including IIM Calcutta, St. Xavier’s University, Presidency University, Medical College Kolkata, Calcutta Boys’ School, Calcutta International School, South City International School etc.

Navin Kumar Vatsa (b. 1972) is a professional photographer from Muzaffarpur, Bihar and is currently based out of Delhi, India. With a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, he served in various reputed academic institutions as teaching faculty and academic administrator for over 16 years, before turning to photography.
A passionate artist since childhood, his early interests in painting and sketching greatly shaped his career as a photographer. Over the past decade, his body of work has been recognized and awarded by platforms and institutions like National Geographic, Sony, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA), Penguin Publications, and the Government of Delhi.
He is a two-time HIPA winner, a contributing photographer for National Geographic’s YourShot community and a Photography Mentor for Tamron India. As a mentor, he has organized and led 20+ intensive workshops and 50+ lectures/phototalks across different Indian cities.
